this is not true. windows 10 uses a Chrome browser that is built on the Chromium runtime engine (not the webkit engine). The only part of chrome that does not have a built-in sound system is the Windows key, which is only used in the Windows 10 Start screen.

I’m sure there’s a more technical reason for this. I would assume it would be more important that you have a working sound system on your computer, but I’m not sure if I’m right. I will say that the only time I’ve ever had sound on my computer was when I was using Windows XP, and I think the default Windows XP sound was awful. I will say that the latest Windows 10 version has sound, though it’s not as loud as I would like.
With that being said, there are some things that are better with windows 10’s sound that you won’t find on chrome. One is the inability to get sound from your speakers, which is pretty annoying and one of the things that makes the game so enjoyable. The other is the ability to pause and resume playing music, which is a must for me, so I can enjoy the sound of my headphones.
Although I don’t have my sound on, I can say that I have found a way to play music on Windows 10 without it. I can pause and resume any song. I can choose between playing with the speaker, or playing with the sound, and it’s as easy as selecting the speaker.

Well there’s no way to play music without a sound bar, but you can play music through the browser. You can pause and resume playing the same song, as well as choosing to play with the speaker.
Theres no way to pause or restart music in Chrome, though that would be a pretty big deal. Apparently, though, they are working on a solution.
