I love how Google Docs’ font size controls can make it difficult for me to use Google’s formatting tool.
If you have a Google Doc you’re using, you can change the font size in the formatting tab of the Google Docs toolbar. The default size is 10pt, so if you have a document you need to format and you don’t want to change it to 10pt but you do want to change the font size, just click the font size drop-down and select the desired size.

I think it’s cool that you can change the font size on your computer and all your coworkers can see it on your computer that way.

It’s very simple – you can’t change it directly in Google Docs. But it does work as an example because if your name is wrong, it can’t be changed directly in Google Docs.
It’s a bit awkward to use the word “smart” when you have to use “smart” to change the font size, so you cant change the font size directly in Google Docs. But I think that it’s a bit cool that you can change the font size directly in Google Docs as well.
The default font size on Google Docs is usually set to 12, which is too small for our type. But we decided to go with a 4 font size because it will be easier to read on our website when there is more traffic coming in.
I think this is a good idea for anyone who needs to change their Google Docs font size. Just don’t forget to use the right click menu for that.
What if you don’t want to use the standard fonts? Well you can just go to the “Change” menu and choose a different one, or you can go to the “Font” menu and set it to your own custom font.
For instance, if you’re using a new font size of 8 and you wanted to change it to a 6 then all you have to do then you could set it to 6. But for the most part we just did a “font size” change. If you have to change some of the fonts in the doc you can change them just for the sake of keeping it simple.
