This is an easy one. Go to google and type in the following into your search box: text-box-transparent.
How do you like that? It works, but I’ve got to say this one has a couple of disadvantages. First of all, Google doesn’t provide a way to change the colors of the text inside the text box. It’s a shame, because that would be a nice feature for slideshows. However, another problem is that there isn’t a way to change the size of the text.
Why should you need to? If you have a text you want to be big, then go for it. You can get a text box with a certain height or width, but you can change the colors of the text inside the box if you want.
The biggest problem for a text box is that it’s transparent. Why would you want to make it transparent if you know that the text inside the box is gonna be a certain color? Well, when you add text in google slideshows, you dont want the text to be transparent because that would make it look as if the text is transparent. Also, you will have a text box that is very wide. Not only that, it will have a certain size.
The solution in many slideshows is to use opacity for the text. If the box has a certain height, then all the text inside that box will have the same opacity. So if you click the text box, the text box will turn into an opaque box. This method is useful if you dont want to have a huge text box that you cant see the text inside.
This slide is a good example of how to make a text box transparent. The text box is the blue one. The text inside is the orange one. If you click the text box and then click the text inside it, then the box will turn into a transparent box.

One more slide using techniques from slides.io. This slide is an example of how to make a text box transparent using this technique. If you click the text box and then click on the text in it, then the text inside will turn into a transparent text box.

Using this technique, you can make your text boxes transparent without using CSS, and it will affect only the text inside of them, not any other text on the page. You can also use an image and text box. The idea is that you put the image inside of the text box and then hide the text box, and then show the image. That way, the text box will be visible, but you can still see the image.
